I am totally new to RC helis. Have flown fixed wing before in my younger days and wanted to get back into RC. Started with a NE Solo Pro last month and have been flying the rotors off practicing indoors. Just bought a Mini Titan 325 from Rotorsport hoping to graduate to it slowly. Planned to use my existing Futaba 6EXHP with it. However when I connected everything up I got no response from any of the servos except an initial jerk. Even the Gyro refused to light up. Fearing a defective gyro I disconnected the rudder cable and the ESC cable from the gyro and connected them directly to the RX. Still no response. So maybe I am dealing with a dud ESC?
I live in Hauz Khas Enclave in New Delhi. Is there an experienced heli hand close by who I can talk to?
Thanks in advance.

Hey,

I stay in west Delhi, Vikaspuri, you can call me if you need any help.

It seems like you need to rebind your Rx and Tx and also just plug in a 6 volt NImh battery to your RX (batt/bind) port to check if everything works this will by pass ESC and you can check if ESC is the problem.

take care

I just had a chat with Mr. Jamal Ahmed and he was very kind. I plan to meet him once I get back in July and seek his help and advice with my flying. Thanks Puneet.
In the meantime I took Hellflyer's advice and connected the rudder and a 6v battery pack to the RX and the servo worked. So obviously the problem lay in the ESC and it turned out to be a lose contact. Connected everything up and I have radio response!!!!!
Kind of sluggish response but response nonetheless. So with a proper set-up things should start working out. i hope to have it working by end July with Mr. Ahmed's help.
Thanks again guys!
