Experts please advise if this servo can be used as a Tail Hold Servo. I am not into 3D or High Speed flying - just normal hovering and sedate patterns. I'm also using 3 X HXT900 servos in the Heli.

Currently using this servo on my HK 450 V2, however, the above seems much more economical.

Btw, read this review and got a bit worried, can metal gear servos affect HXT 900's in the vicinity?

"these servos are very fast. they are so responsive, i jerked the stick around very fast and the momentum of the metal gears oscillating knocked the servo over. amazing servo. causes my hxt900's to jitter like crazy when near them. "  Though this review is for the Corona 939, I am facing the same problem with my D922. The servos chatter like monkeys on coke!

Regards.

I'm no expert but the higher dead band on analogue servos is not good thing for that application, it'll be harder to find the sweet spot because it may lie in the dead band.

Have you checked by using twisted cable on servo?
