and inverted auto with a 450 is pretty hard core

Since there is an effort to prove none of this is fake, I will say it is 

The reason is that no cameraman can keep the heli in the frame all the time during this level of abrupt movements

quite an expensive set up...

no i do not know him personally nor did i c this flight in person, but u can hear that the revs is about 4grand and the spec is 4000 with 4 cell

It looks fake to me too. No movement in grass even while he is doing stunts with high rpm just above the grass. Also no dust is blown while he is doing 3D at very low altitude. And the speed of the heli looks like it’s been fast forwarded...

it is little trick   speeding up in the editing and another give away is the music maybe next time you try it take a camera and a audio sys put it in front of the camera then turn on the music and move the camera to your right, left, up and down in all possible direction keeping in mind not to cross  180degree line between u and music and then hear it or playback the video you will find that audio is giving you pitch points also another nice trick telling the audience the tricks used for editing to make them believe that it is not a trick amateurs use this trick most often  

i know little bit about editing and filmmaking

don`t think kyle as being 1 of the best 3d pilots in the word need to fake a flight, he made this video do some people think his previous flight was fake, when there was no reference

It surely looks sped up.If it is not,awesome flying.

sins u know a bit of editing cant u make a video  then to proof what u are saying? seriously . tex start a timer at the same time as the video recorder, start some music,have the timer in the picture all the time make example a watch go faster then pick up the timer and show the time and it should b the same as on the timer on the video, just like in kyle`s video

Just thinking about faking it technically, absolutely yes !  Just substitute a timer (requires some precision), and edit in the audio of the music player.

Not that I mean that is what happened.  I am super impressed with the cameraman though for keeping up with the flight, I think that is no less an achievement than flying a heli that way !

dave is filming him pretty much every day so he knows exactly  where it is going, guess that helps a bit

see clayboy even anwar bhai knowns the trick its very common trick or should i say basic trick from the bag of editor

of course everything is possible, u can fly to the moon as well, but do u honestly think the number 1 flyer in the world   would go through all that trouble that it takes to make a fake flight and on top of that get the risk getting cought .

i cant c a hick up in the video that proves that it is cut and mached

i have seen him fly live and know what he is capable  of

i m not saying neither is anyone else saying he is faking it. its just the video my be next time he should keep a wide angel so he is also be in the frame the whole flight we all r just talking about the video and remember clayboy sir people on the top level do crazy things to keep them there you might know this

I was just commenting that people have done elaborate fakes that are hard to spot.  This one is a well discussed example :



Basically, when someone goes out of the way to prove something is not fake, that just raises more eyebrows/questions.  It seems that "just be yourself" is all that is needed.

Clayboy,Subodh is quite right.Alright,let us get the timer out of the equation.How do you explain the 'super fast'heli.I am sure that a guy cannot take a video like that without even reducing the quality a bit.It takes really serious camera equipment to do that and even with that ,I don't think that a cameraman can be so quick.I've seen one of those gyro stabilized cameras which are stable even when you are jumping up and down.

first i don`know why u should take the timer out of the equation, second if u try a 450 with 4000 rpm and 14 in pitch and blades with good grip it is insane, when i tried it on my rave i thought its gonna fly to the moon and quickly changed it back again to 3000 , third dave is filming kyle all the time and know his patterns and moves and there fore be a head of every move, forth i am tired  discussing this over and out from me

Dear clayboy.. you don't have to feel forced (or even inclined) to defend/answer anything  

If anything, treat all reactions here as a testament to the content of the video... the people and equipment involved !  If you know the flyer in person, that is the end of the matter !

Actually this one is easy. The intact wing would cause lift and the roll would be in the opposite direction to that shown!
