Post by: deepikarun on November 16, 2010, 01:27:44 PM
Hi All,

My friends heli was flying good till recently and all of a sudden the tail started wagging (sideways).

Please advice as to what is causing this symptom and the remedy.

Thanks

Arun

Check all these...

1. Gyro gain (remember that this can be affected by any switch setup to change gain settings).

2. Not enough headspeed.  Can be affected by throttle curve, pitch curve, or hover throttle/pitch knob settings (if any).

3. Belt tension.

also check if there is any binding on the tail links... links should be smooth (remove the ball link from the servo and move the tail linkage rod by hand if its smooth then its working fine)
