Er .. in most 3ch helis the plastic blades have a curve to it. So To make it fly inverted the blades have to be removed and installed the other way.

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

Just look for Blade mSR videos, inverted flying has been pretty popular with those tiny helis.

This is supported by the fact that they did not show the heli in process of inversion(If m not wrong). The took the shot with a stock heli. Stoped it, inverted the blades,as rajat said, then flew it with wings inverted in head down position and took his shot.
I'll be back.

i am not sure, but only inverting the blades will not help. one need to open the heli, de solder the motor and reverse the connection of motor so that it move in opposite direction.
Also, what i have seen in my heli is that reversing the polarity of motor will not work at all. cant say about other make or model...
i had model art heli..........reversing of motor polarity is not working
Fly high if you have good set of batteries.....!

I don't know if this applies to the heli but to attain a pusher configuration, the prop is just reversed keeping the wires soldered in the way it was for a puller/tractor configuration.

Reversing a prop alone will not change the direction it throws air !  See this detailed discussion :

Gosh! I missed that thread. So, ok we have to reverse the motor's direction and also flip the prop. So, that solves the problem why my friend ankit was not getting enough power from the motor of his Shikra. Thanks sir!!  :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

Ok he tried interchanging the wires, but then the motor started pulling instead of pushing. He then returned to the original configuration and the motor starts pushing again, so is it that the motor for SHIKRA comes 'pre-reversed', otherwise this leaves me confused again.  :headscratch: :headscratch:

Hey for pusher the prop should be in the same direction with reference to the plane. Meaning if in tractor config faceA was towards the tail of the plane , in pusher config also faceA will be towards the tail. But since the motor position has changed - the direction of motor rotation has to be changed by interchanging any two motor-esc wires.

Hope this is right :D

Yeah you're right, the prop faces the same direction, actually I had it like that just made a mistake in my earlier post. But reversing the wires of the motor for SHIKRA don't help, it was in fact what I did in my first attempt. When that didn't work out, I then went back to the configuration for puller planes(not reversing the wires), the prop facing the same direction; it worked, the motor started producing thrust.
