hi everyone,
I have a v-sky planet helicopter which i bought in malaysia around 3 yrs ago i used to fly it very well till one year then one day i tried to fly it but it flew like about 5 cm for 1 second by spinning and then fell down and kept spinning... i didnt know what the problem was so when i went to malaysia i bought another pair of rotors and tried bit no success...and now i tried flying it again but accidentally the wire connecting the tail motor got detached and i tried turning my heli on and increased the throttle but the main rotors didnt even spin...

here are the specifications:
main rotor diameter:450mm
length:630mm
weight:360g
power system:500 motor+n30 motor
battery:9.6v 650mAh Ni-MH battery

questions:
!)anybody knows the problem and its solution?
2)can i get spares  if needed?
3)after all these and if fixed can i make my heli even better like better thrust?

Your best bet is to hook up with a fellow RC person from Hyderabad, preferably a heli person.

I could not find any online references to "V-Sky Planet" helis, neither "E-Sky Planet" helis.  Can you point us to any website that has pictures/details of the same ?

PS: I updated the topic heading, since "not working" is too generic.

Looks toy class :(  You may be better of investing in something else, instead of getting frustrated trying to fix this.  Parts availability in India would be like winning a lottery !

on the box its written high grade...do we get spares in jacks hobbies?

"High Grade" written on the box does not mean much, except that the manufacturer wanted to let everyone know that it is built of not too flimsy material.  I would look more at how many online references (like Google search results) does one get for "V-Sky" as an indicator of its popularity, and "V-Sky" definitely comes up short in that aspect.

Since you are local to Hyderabad, you can try walking in to Jacks, and see if you can at least find any suitable substitutes.  Just be very very prepared for disappointment though :(

hey if i want to get a new one how do i make my dad get it?he thinks im a lot into games and less into studies and i feel guilty too

Well likith first check if there is a gyro there (Its a counter rotating model so i doubt there is one) if there is none then the problem where your heli was rotating can be in one of the motors that has lost its rated RPM due to overheating and coil damage.
But last you said rotors are not rotating at all then buddy its either the pinion (which is a small metallic gear connected to the motor directly) or the reducer gear teeth that are worn out you need to change that. Rotors are intact so dont waste your energy in that.
As far as getting your dad to buy a real one for you well get it part by part as such the assembled thing ma not make it through customs anyways and be ready to make your dad shell out a fortune as tx alone is 13500 INR approx
Fix your old thing its fun but now thats its troubling you well fix it and dont over run it

I have this heli.....was able to fly it for 2-3 times....its a big piece of crap....its gears melts....if you fly it for more than 2-3 minuts and then you will find its motor running and rotors  :banghead: :banghead:.....

This heli is ...one of the worst toys I have ever used...
