Hello everybody,
I am new to rockets and stuff like that. I am trying to build a model rocket with household materials for my science project which will be held on October 21 and submission date is 17th. ( which means, I have 9 days left). I gathered many information from Grant Thompson (Youtube) and many i'bles. I searched for KNO3 in many sites like Indiamart etc. But found that there are no things other that potassium nitrate fertilizers which has 45% potassium. Can anyone quickly give any information on where to buy it online or anywhere ??
I know of a person (online seller);
but you'll have to assure me that you wont misuse the potassium nitrate.
Regards
Itz easily available at shops where labs chemical are sold
Where from the puja materials came in your locality ? Ask them first...
It will not be very pure but will serve your purpose.
And of course cheaper than lab grade, if you get it.
Greetings,
You can get Potassium Nitrate from stores selling Scientific Equipment and Chemicals for Schools or Industrial Chemical Suppliers, There are many such stores in your city. Looks like you are making Sugar and Potassium Nitrate Rockets :) Be sure to keep the Potassium Nitrate mixture free from moisture. Be careful while preparing the mixture :thumbsup: All the best in Exploring Space and Model Rocketry :thumbsup:
