Hello friends

I'm a beginner at building balsa planes and i am building a fully balsa sheeted plane which I plan to finish by painting. So, what's the best way to fill the grain? I was thinking I might just use acrylic colors, can any one please help me out.

ThankYou

Rachit: keep it light!

One of the lightest ways is heat shrink film (Monokote, Oracote and clones) available at all LHS.

Otherwise acrylic, oil, NC Auto paint, all will do. But it will make the model heavy

Can I make it without painting because i am not very good at painting  and i am afraid that it will get spoiled!.

To paint or not to paint is entirely your decision. If you don't paint, it will only decrease the all up weight (AUW) of the model and result in better performance.
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!
