how to make a basic balsa wood glider??
i am a biginner and i also want to learn the aerodynamics for gliders as am a btech student

VC

Buy a Balsa glider kit from RCBazaar and build it. Simple!
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

thanks sir but i want to shape it on my own and also want to learn the aerodynamics...
how to get started??

In that case you will need to search the net for Chuck Glider plans. There are hundreds available for free. Download and print them. Get hold of a piece of 3mm Balsa (to start with), a modelling knife/cutter, CA glue / Quickfix and you are good to go.

Once you make a few planes you will notice a correlation between the dimensions. Do some reading up on the net, make Mr. Google your best friend. That's the best way to start.

Check/search on this forum itself and you will find interesting things to read up on.

Welcome to RCIndia!

Cheers!

We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

Dear Mohit,

The expert  on the gliders (VC) has already posted on your thread. Like you, I too began by trying to build gliders. In my experience, it is extremely difficult (unless you are already initiated and skilled enough) to build even a simple balsa glider from scratch. It is best to get a kit and upgrade one's skills.

FYI, I got my first glider kits from VC.
