Interesting discovery: use kitchen shrink wrap film as a barrier between model and plans to prevent glue damage. It works.....

The Balsa is too delicate for me......keeps breaking  :rofl:

After Dope. I use NC Lacquer thinned down with NC Thinner

I should have left it like that!!!

Last time I used Lacquer with Universal Stainer, Auto Paint (NC)

The tissue sagged after paint.

This time I tried Acrylic (Fevicryl)  The tissue sagged  :banghead: :banghead:

I guess Oil Paint (Enamel) thinned down with Turpentine, and several thin coats with proper drying between coats will work. But, I just don't have that much patience  ;D

You dont need paint.
Pl build another one.
Just to remind you how beautiful it was in plain tissue.

A lecture on rubber power perhaps, for guys who have wondered for years about things like Wakefield, Coupe de Hiver etc, or Ray Malmstrom, John O'Donnell etc
