Hi guys here is my rubber band powered airplane, made from stuff available in home...
it flies good as shown in the videos, i dont have enough space to fly so tested in lobby, it goes around 20-30 feet, however if you have better rubber you can have better flights.

intresting!!!
can u post video??
Video links have been posted above. She seems restrained indoors and needs a bigger place to fly - take her out coder - all the best!
very simple and light weight plane.
ps...outdoor video
sory forget to type outdoor...
just cz m interested in trajectory of flight...

trajectory of flight depends on kind of rubber and thrust it gives, i am using 4 strands of rubber normal rubber band as a chain of 4 - 5 length, this runs only for 4 seconds or less and gives great thrust so plane goes up very fast and then glides down (i made it a little nose heavy), however with good quality rubber make it a little tail heavy.
i have tried it with a little better single strand rubber, it gives more flight but less thrust, with it planes takes good slow flight but banks to left as i have made left wing heavier (with tape) so that it doesnt go straight as in for free flying planes we normally do.
Use Plastic Glass/Cup cut at 15O and paste with a stick piece to make prop.
Make prop Dia Appx 1/3rd times of wingspan.
Adjust Dia/Pitch = 1 (Finally with your rubber band power.)
Keep in mind :-Make less pitch, more RPM and more power less time and vice versa.
Use nylon type Semi transperent rubber band for more power and less weight. (Nylon Rubber) But best is TAN Sport, not available here.
Search F1D and you will get how to make lightweight frame. Plastic prop you used is tooo.. heavy. Use much thinner plastics like microfilm.
Good luck and thanks for trying this.

Ice cream sticks forms plane.

Awesome Dude...Really great work especially about the prop adapter you made.
really nice plane :) better looking and more well made.
