Watch a Youtube vidoe of coffee table village layout in a 27" centre table. Used a N Scale set as this works best for Indian homes (esp Mumbai appartments).

The layout is completely made using locally available materials. Nothing has been purchased off-the-shelf except for the two tractors and the train and tracks. Today lot of options available in India to create such models.. Happy to help if anyone interested in setting up such a set in their homes..
