Buying kites in India is a bit tough i usually buy it International events from foreigners who want to lighten their baggage when they return home, of course there is an option of buying it online but its too costly. However a friend of mine is sending a few kites from abroad so i will let you guys know when I get them.

Im into building a powered paraglider and after some bad reviews for hk parafoil i dropped the idea of buying it. Later i read in few forums that a kite can be used/rigged to make a perfect powered paraglider. So i need some knowledge about the price and source of these kites. Can you provide the same

V2 eagle do you mean an rc paraglide or a real life paraglider.. If your talking about an rc paraglider then yes it is possible.. And you can buy the kites in decathlon.. For an rc paraglider you will need a 2 line trainer power kite or traction kite which is quite affordable.. But if you are talking about the large powered paraglider there is no way you can convert a power kite or a foil kite to work like a real paraglider.. Though it's possible it is highly risky and dangerous..

Though a real ppg is on my todo list, im not going to build that and leave that to professionals instead.
So what should a two line trainer costs and what is decathlon. Lot of info comes out while googling.

Decathlon is a sports shop and I think there has to be a branch in chennai there are 3 in Bangalore I Guess, and you can buy it on ebay.com also

there is no branch of decathlon in chennai only in coimbatore was looking for a cycle :lol:
