Hmm, never knew Alan Cox (probably the second most important person in the Linux kernel world after Linux himself) was running a model trains company.

Yep... did some small driver patches in the kernel for fun during those days, like this mail thread shows.

I think I had 3 or 4 small patches accepted into the kernel during that year, then I had to stop tinkering with those fun stuff due to my day job taking up all my time.
