Finally we have released our Brass built Gauge1(45mm gauge) DD51 JNR Locomotive.
Detailed brass photo-etched body overlays.
Cast & macnined brass handrails, running boards, grabrails, snow plough, latches, hinges, door locks, radiator grills, sand boxes, brake rigging, hydralulic cylinders, fuel tanks, axle boxes etc
Silver soldered power bogies with working compensator springs, stainless steel ballbearing axle ends, stamped side frames and actual scale miniature rivet work. Powered by two 24v DC PM 7500rpm motors & all brass 2 stage 1:36 reduction drive gear boxes.
Track powered with carbon brush sprung pickups.
Stainless steel wheels(32mm dia) on 3mm dia Spring steel axles.
Directional headlights and taillamps, fitted with our synchronised multi cylinder diesel sound units
2 Working exhaust fans on radiators.
Working cab doors & cab lights, all windows glazed.
Comes fitted with brass photo eteched number plates
painted in correct Japan National Railways livery
