I was astonished by these multicopters for about an year or so.I always wanted to build a quad.After months of research and proper financing at last I placed an order with RC Timer for the 450 V2 kit with integrated PCB on 11 MARCH 2014 .
To my first surprise they had sent it thru DHL express ( too much for a free shipping).It left their china warehouse on 12 March 2014.
I was eagerly tracking it on track-trace.com . since it was sent thru courier I was fearing that there might be a hefty customs on the parcel.
The parcel reached me today evening 6:00 pm and another surprise there was no customs at all..

For the order - Free DHL express shipping + No customs + Fast delivery withing 3 days.... 

Within an hour of arrival I was able to completely assemble the kit.

I already have a NanoWii board and 3S 2200mAh 20C Turnigy lipo.
I am waiting for my bullet connectors to arrive , as only the motors had bullet connectors.

Guys can I submit this for RC India sweeptake ??

I too ordered stuff via rctimer, but i didnt get a free shipping option. I had to pay $20 for shipping. It was sent via DHL and no customs for me either. I had ordered stuff around $200 in value. I ordered on 14th and recieved it today. Great service.

rctimer has great products but only their support isnt good at all!

I have a problem now  .
Finished soldering bullet connectors ,Nanowii board, motor directions ,fixing everything.
I calibrated the esc by ,
1.power up the board alone via USB
2.Arm the board + full throttle
3.Power up the ESC
4.Wait for throttle calibration tones
5.Bring the throttle down and disarm

I tried to power the quad and the results are,
When I give throttle ,the motor respond only after 40% throttle even though it was calibrated.
The throttle response is very fast so that it goes up like a rocket when it starts to lift.

The prop is a 10x4.5 and 30A RCT SimonK ESC with Nanowii board - F/W Multiwii 2.2
No changes to the default PID values has been made.

Not good job to do bro, just take lot of care. These things are damn dangerous, they can slash through your skins like a sharp knife

Second that advice.

My fear is that , outside if I overcorrect or any overshoot  in PID can result in loss of my quad and also the throttle , if I give more then the quad may get out of control!

You can always tether the quad using strings to something heavy when you are testing indoors (like 'Dharmik' did... he used a tub I think...).

More chance to damage quad indoors than outdoors. Fly in a field with grass, and you will walk away without damage from most crashes.

BTW , one of the motors is itself not balanced .This is causing more vibrations and the props that came with the kit are worst balanced !

Ordered landing skids for my quad and attached them.
To reduce vibrations picked up by Nanowii I decreased the LPF value to 42Hz.Now the quad is much stable but I could see the vibrations in the motor with my naked eye.

Try using some tape on the propellers to minimise the vibrations. Also check the prop adapters.

The prop adapters are worst balanced!

Found the best way to eliminate vibration - don't use the prop adapters instead place the prop directly over the motor and attach it using cable tie.

It works the best   ! -very minimal vibration as if it doesn't have a prop and the motor is running w/o prop.
