look at that case...

does AUW look to be at or below 35grams?

aniket210696

i can't tell... but it is 20$ INCLUDING a Transmitter ... :O

well... i got new motors from satya and tried all different designs but till day... my unit has not been able to lift itself up...

is the FS-TH9X throttle to do something with it??

i mean am i not giving it enuf throttle for the lift??

siddaniels

@ saintofinternet

Have you tried using your throttle trim? Maybe setting high % end points on the throttle channel might help...  (I haven't used the TH9X but my HK T6A lets me set a % between 0% to 120%. I went right up to 120%)

@ ajayjohn

My ep setting are wrong
It shld be
75% - 75% on ch Aileron, Elevator, & Rudder...

my apologies for the error. I'm still learning.

saintofinternet

@siddaniels : thanks for the reply...... Any idea how is that to be done on a FSTh9X?

@saintofinternet
was the manual helpful?

saintofinternet

hey... thanks for the link. actually it did not work...but i had the manual so i refered to the page you said and tried out everything but no luck so far...

vishal

first it would'nt bind to my flysky and then i burnt the controller board. it smoked.  ;D
ordered another from quadcopter.com, this time the 552

Hey guys. I tried to bind the receiver to my flysky fs ct6b by following the exact steps mentioned in the first post but no luck :(  I'm not able to get the red light solid. Please help.

arun.sreelakam

Only possible reason is low voltage in your lipo...
Charge it fully and try again.. good luck;D

Satya has two sets of motors. One smaller with internal resistance plus 3ohms and one longer motor with internal resistance approx 1.7ohms.

Till date I have not been able to make frame hover for more than 30 secs with 3ohms smaller motor Inspite of being lighter at 29 gms. moment lipo voltage drops fron full charge it settles in ground no lift off.

But frame with longer heavier motor of 1.7ohms hovers for plus 2 mins till lipo drains completely.

3ohms motor is just not suitable at all for any frame. I am going to exchange the spare set with satya for 1.7ohms motor.

I have now bought just a X-Dart frame from HK mounted all electronicsand having a blast. Look at the pictures.

I would like to buy the kit.
I would also like to know about the cheapest Transmitter which would be compatible with the kit(can someone please explain how the compatibility is determined?).
Also can we make a Transmitter "for the kit" ourselves?

I am an RC beginner & am also endeavouring to program my own code on a self-made Flight Controller(Arduino/AVR).

Thank You.

TheZ0mb!e

Great work.
I am myself a beginner and hope to do the same.
Which TX do you use by the way?

Thanks for inspiring.

friends.... i tried a lot but ultimately my small quad never left ground... its was doing it if the battery was unattached to the frame... but with the battery it just could not create enough thrust... just felt very sad as it was for my 6 year old daughter who was very excited about all this and without the quad leaving the ground we both were like  :banghead:  :)

used the lightest material that came with the kit... the props and motors were perfect CW and CCW and the props were creating a lot of air in the bottom direction... but it just refused to pickup...

using a Flysky 9 flashed with ER9x as the transmitter

I hope you did a throttle ranging.  How to do it is there some where in the same thread.

If you are using same prop which i have used and AUW of 30 gms even with 716 motors (which is 16 mm long) you should hover for  at least less than a minute. With 720 motors you can hover till batteries dies. It's because 716 has more resistance more than 3 ohms and moment voltage drops in lipo with usage it's not  able to support required amps. Best is if you can manage a 716 motors with less than 1.7 ohms. Your quad will be really agile in air due to less AUW and high thrust.

hi sundaram... where can i find the throttle ranging on this forum? i tried searching it... but did not get anything.

sundaram

It's there  in same thread in the Beginning some place. Which motors are you using you did not say that. Also if you can check the ohms of motors with multimeter and let know.

saintofinternet

the motors i have nothing written on them but they came with the Rs. 1800 kit from quadkopters.com

i do have multimeter but should i connect it directly to the motor and take the ohm reading?

sundaram

Yes ohms directly with multimeter.  The length of motor will determine whether it's 7-20/16. Motors make lot of difference.
