Hey everyone, here is some good news,
my quad finally flew, Satya bhai you were rite, the motors were not aligned properly...... The AUW is little less than 30gms including landing gear and battery... And motor to motor distance is 100 mm.
This thing is a blast to fly, really twitchy, and a hell lot responsive than any other craft I've flown yet. There's nothing like pin-point hover, it constantly keps moving here and there, but is still is fun to fly.

Thanx everyone, specially Satya, Arun bhai and Shivela sir.... Will post pics in a while

cheers

Hey satya bhai,
I hit a small bush yesterday while I was flying and somehow ripped the wire of one of the motors :(
so I tried replacing it with one of the motors of syma s107 that I had lying, and it really was a pain in the a** because the motor's shaft is of 0.7 mm dia and props have a 1mm dia hole, but neways I somehow managed to attach the two and this motor prop combo is way better than the previous one.......... Thaought I should tell others so that they may try too :D

btw, do you have props that can work with these motors?... With 0.7 mm hole diameter?

Regards
Bilal

Bilal bhai that was the motor that supplier sent to me at the first place (which i got replaced) so 0.7mm shaft was the reason :giggle:

Its really a pain to fit the current props on the S107 motor. And these props have 1mm hole :(

If you are planning to buy spare motors then wait for couple of weeks, I am getting few powerfull motors which will be good with mid to large size quads ( around 250mm to 350mm) :thumbsup:

Bilal,

Can you also share your FAT reducing secrets of your Quad?.. (< 30grms)
Some pictures if you can please...

Mine is about 34grm.

Motor+prop = 10.4grm
Lipo           = 10grm
FC             = 3grm
pencapx4    = 2.5 grm
Frame         = 8grms
               __________
                   34gms

Shiv Sir, the key here is the frame and motor mounts, instead of using the bamboo rods send bu Satya, I used 1mm thick bamboo strips  from a table mat, you can get similar strips from bamboo fans (folding ones used by women folks) etc..... And for making a platform for the FC, I used the foam plates, just stick two pieces of bamboo flat 100 mm long on top of each other and stick a square piece of foam on top for miking the platform.
Motor holders are made from caps of use and throw pens you get at 12rs a pack at stationary store... Just avoid hot glue, use ca everuwhere, and epoxy for motor mounts

Sundaram sir i dont think you can able to use that Tx..   :(

Arun had no luck with the hobbyking micro heli tx hence went ahead with the purchase of Fly Sky FS-T6 from Satya. I am glad I did not go ahead with the purchase of Fly Sky CT6B. Unlike a Turnigy 9X this one though 6 Channel, the features of programing are very nice and very very user friendly. it has nice features for Heli setup too with different swash setup, pitch curve and throttle curve.

A very nice 2.4 Ghz radio with cool, easy to use features.
