Title: Any restrictions on flying Quadcopter with video?
Post by: hogwildmy on August 28, 2014, 08:04:42 PM
I recently brought my DJI Vision 2+ to Gurgaon. One of my colleagues is concerned that I might get into trouble with the police because I don't have a license and it is a video device.  Am I breaking any India laws by flying it?  Is there any thing I need to be careful of? Thanks for any advice.

Never fly anything with a camera on board near the army or their building until and unless you have asked for permission . I would suggest you to fly your quad in an open field until and unless you have taken permission from the owner

Thanks for the information.  So far I have stayed in parks and Cricket fields. I'll check out google Maps and make sure I'm far from any military bases.
