Title: Custom Mobile holder
Post by: parichya.gautam on December 25, 2014, 04:16:34 AM
Wanted to get some aerial footage and didn't have any smaller cams nearby. So thought why not :D

Total weight of the quad ( all inclusive ) is 1200gm

And as usual, used the Mechanix kit i earlier used to create the RC TiltRotor Car and the Landing Skids :)

Cool!!
I too did this but on my plane. Do take sufficient measures to reduce vibrations as much as possible. Also, does your phone has DIS(Digital Image Stabilization) because otherwise the image would be bad.

yea, will sponge it a bit , recorded a vid, and the vibration could be heard, BUT if muted, the video was perfect :D

I agree with chintal.
Make sure your quad flies stable otherwise you may cry.

Updated it.

No more vibration or jaggy feel. Plus its perfectly still now. And it stays even upside down :D
