Hello,
This is my first quad. Received all the items excluding battery and GPS. Unfortunately Malaysia Post lost the parcel. Hobbyking has started an investigation. Hope it'll come very soon.
Thank you Chintal sir for the radio and ESC.
If I've made any mistake please help me.  :help:

Ready for first flight.

Weather is good today, good luck.

Bad morning for me.
cannot understand the reason it flipped over during the take off.
Checked the things before take off:

1) GPS 3D lock
2) Armed
3) motors started spinning at same time

But one thing i want to mention  there was a lot of vibration when the motors were spinning.  I think the this is because of the long legs and little heavy setup(apprx 1kg).

IndianHobbyShop

Nope, that's not the reason.
It's because all Props are not mounted the correct way.
I see 3CW and 1CCW props in the image!

Please make sure that you mount the props the correct way and that the motors are spinning the correct way.
Take help of some YouTube videos here.

Sir the prop are in correct orientation. 2 R marked and 2 L  marked in opposite direction.

may be i have done something terribly wrong. i was testing the quad in my room. i found that the motor no. 4 (motor numbers are according to APM wiki i.e. 1-4-2-3 clockwise) started spinning first then 1, 3 respectively with slight raising the throttle. after 2-3 sec 1 and  4 motors started spinning faster without any throttle movement. motor 2 remained static until i raised the throttle little more.  :help:

The 6th image from the 1st post have props mounted the wrong way.
Can you post a latest image showing the current setup?
BTW,  have you calibrated the ESC's yet?

Sir those are not for purpose.
Uploaded the latest snaps.

i have done all the calibrations again including APM. still no result.
Compass data ( 260.851, 22.171, 202 )
Accelerometer ( -0.07 0.09 0.36 )

Please check the video:

You can see motor 1 and 4 rotate faster after 2 seconds.
I am using a clone APM (HKPilot 2.7) from hobbyking.

ashimda

Looks like an Esc calibration problem. The props are correctly fitted.

Sir i have already done that.
Steps:
ESC receiver connected.
turn on transmitter and throttle to maximum
connect the power module
then disconnect after 5sec and then reconnect.

ashimda

After connecting power with full throttle, you should here a beep, then You throttle down, wait another beep/beeps, then the calibration is done.

Tried everything. reassembled all the components. but no result. it flips everytime during take off. i think the APM is faulty.
i am going to put it on my 450 frame to confirm.

ashimda

This happened to me when I was assembling my first quad. As soon as I applied throttle it would flip over. My fault was that I had connected the motor inputs incorrectly. I think motor 1 and 3 were crossed by mistake. After reconnecting properly it flew like a charm.
Check all connections, even if you think you did it correctly.

Happy to help :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

You ahve learned a big thing today, so which ever controller that you use you should always refer its wiki or documentation for all details like

Motor connectors, RC connections etc etc.

have same frame S500 from HK with Turnigy D2830-11, 30A BlueSeries ESC + prog-Card, APM 2.6 + GPS-Comp and 10x4.5 SF Props..
everything is assembled nicely now just need 12 female bullet connectors for ESCs ASAP..but its look like its not possible to get connectors by tomorrow. so i need suggestion that should i wait for connectors or just solder ESCs directly?
i need up and flying this quad for AF for 'NAVRATRI' festival.
