:)Here's a video of my most reacent fpv adventure in the late afternoon sunshine at Keri beach in the north of Goa:

I'm using an F450 Quadcopter, with DJI Naza Lite Flight controller. The Fpv gear is a Boscam Explorer HD camera, 5.8gHz 832 600mW transmitter and a diversity receiver with CP antennas. My Radio gear is FrSky Tarannis

Hi!

I'm glade you enjoyed the flights.

This is my first mulicopter which I built in July this year, so I'm not an expert in this field!!!
I have flown Helis for a few years and Planes for a few decades, so I'm not totally lacking in RC experience!
This project I did as a low cost entry into multis, and bought  the cheap HobbyKing Q 450 quad frame kit (circit board version), for the speed controllers, I got a set of 4 standard Tunigy Plush 18amp ESCs, the motors I chose were Air 2215 900kv 200w outrunners, and 9x4.7 propellers. To start with I used the KK2 flight controller, which worked well for getting to grips with flying a multi 3rd person LoS, but it lacked the precision and advanced features I wanted for FPV flying, like GPS position hold and failsafe return to home and land, so I bit the bullet and splashed out on a DJI Naza Lite FC with GPS. To start with I used and 1800mah and 2200mah 3s Lipos, because I had them lying around. I later got Zippy flightmax 2700mah 3s lipos, which give me 10 minutes flight time.

I found that the arms of the Q450 have a weakness in design and started to show signs of stress fractures starting in identical places on all four arms, so I replaced them with DJI 450 spare parts which are a direct swap, and do not have this same weakness.

My choice of components was based on educated guess work and a fair amount of internet research, I haven't done much experimenting- I tend to work by the philosophy of "if it ain't broke - don't fix it"
As this little machine has done exactly what I wanted it to do from the word go, I haven't really tried making any changes.
