Hi, is there anyone in kompally area, Hyderabad, who could help me tune PI parameters of my quad (kk2.1 based).
Thanks

What is problem with your PI values ?
is the quad drifting on it's own ?

Its my first quad so I don't really know how it should behave, so I was wondering if someone with experience could check it out.
Well, the quad is drifting a lot on it own. Its a x525 arf kit from quadkopters.com.

Drifting is not related to PI dude, you have to trim your Transmitter channels to stabilize the quad.

Interesting, I'll give that a try and tell you how it goes. I have set my trims to get the receiver sliders on the kk board to zero position.

use trims to prevent quad from drifting . Let me assume you know how :headscratch:

tweak PI values only after Trimming it level .

Okey, how much altitude should I get before doing this? Ground turbulence is messing with the stability big time, I guess, because its a little stable 2 to 3 meters off the ground.

Go to an open place with out trees or any obstruction near by, take off up to 10 mtrs height, and calmly trim it level,
