which esc should i use for AEW 2822 Brushless Motor 1100KV
http://aeroworks.co.in/store/index.php?id_product=332&controller=product

i am bit confused because its max amps is 9.9a but the site is saying recommended esc is 30a ???

Salam

A 15-20A ESC should be good for it. A little extra headroom is always good which is required to protect against burst rate and amp spikes which will keep the ESC cooler. A bigger ESC is not going to hurt unless you are concerned about the extra weight of a bigger ESC. Price difference should not be much.

Agree with Mr.Salam, As the max A rating is 9.9 and the W is 102...
you can go with a 18A esc with 3s will be safe.... :)

If this is for a multirotor, I do not recommend that Red Bricks. Go fo the Hobbyking F range of escs like th F-20A :

It is the pervading law of all things organic and inorganic,
Of all things physical and metaphysical,
Of all things human and all things super-human,
Of all true manifestations of the head,
Of the heart, of the soul,
That the life is recognizable in its expression,
That form ever follows function. This is the law.

For this motor... 20A red brick is perfect for mutirotors also in my view.. with basic program features and affordable...
