I have this :

Had bought a set of 4 from a fellow member, And i am having some issues here regarding the motor.
The side of the quad where this motor is , it starts to rotate around its yaw axis ! This issue happened all of a sudden and i dont have a clue to what could have caused it.
I've reset the board, re-calibrated the ESC too but nothing helped.
Please help me out here ..
ALSO, as a backup, anyone selling the same motors ?
You mean the whole quad is rotating in yaw axis ???
If it is check your motor rotation and propeller directions.
checked everything ! I know the basic trouble shooting, couldnt get anything so asked here..
The reason i am blaming is because when it was on the left side, quad rotated on the left side, i shifted it to the right, quad rotated to the right, so i am pretty sure that it is the motors fault ...
Obviously that motor might be running slow, check it's winding resistances with a multimeter - A pole out of the 3 might have damaged .

Her is the video.
Talking about the M3 Motor.
how do i do that , and YES, on looking closely, i realized that it speed was a BIT slower than the others ..
WHat do i do now ?
The same thing happened to me once and i finally found that the ESC was the culprit. Try swapping the ESC's. Here is the video of mine http://youtu.be/t7hGP7wL-Vo (http://youtu.be/t7hGP7wL-Vo)
hmm yea , a somewhat similar state here, although it doesn't even lift that much :P
But i dont have a spare ESC :P What do i do ?
Swapping ESC's position to confirm issue in the mean time ...
nope.
The Shaft of the motor is loose ! Damnit !
ANY WAYS, used hot glue to seal the shaft tp the prop .Did the trick !
Flies perfectly now :D
Parichya, Hot glue is not the permanent fix, and it may wear out any time (What if it happens in middle flight :banghead: ) .
Can I know the exact situation ?
Where did you put hot glue ?
is it the motor shaft or the prop adapter ? Which is loose ?
If it is the shaft, check that grub screw - tight it if it is loose.
If it is prop adapter, that can be fixed with some tape or paper .
See, The issue is that ,
The shaft of the motor, when the prop adapter is put and tightened, usually the prop and the motor move together, but here the motor ( the outer body ) stays there and the prop just slips on it.
Thats why it was getting the low speed and hence quad was having the issue.
So to fix it i just used hot glue so that the shaft and adapter dont slip.
Got it ?
Along with Hot glue, use some paper - in between motor shaft and prop adapter .
adapter is fine ..
