i am trying to make a quad with an arduino uno(or mega) as the flight controller and having a hard time working with it ...need help with the code and control settings for the quad(throttle, pitch, yaw, roll controls for motors) and if anybody has the code plz post it...and reply soon

devangflyer

I would suggest you to first buy the sensor shield . link -
And then copy the multiwii code and select the sensors from the board , I can do that for you if you want me to .
Then I would suggest you to select the specific things in the code , it should work
. Will post link later

rohan123

Im gonna use 6DOF, i am not familiar with the multiwii can you tell me about it. And thanx for the reply

devangflyer

It's kinda same , but multiwii firmware can be used with gps and is more reliable .

That's why I said pls wait , I forgot where I had seen it , pls wait

devangflyer

I think it was on rcelectro , but his website is shut now , now he operates from ebay , he still has plenty of items to add like the shield board

devangflyer

Till then , why not buy a hobbyking flight board , that sundaram sir is selling in his thread for @600 rs

Buddy rohan123, you need to find somethings for yourself and do things for yourself. Spoon feeding will keep you a baby, if you decide not to grow up, then thats the way. Also you may need to add some 'please', 'thank you's for someone helping you, whether elder or younger than you, and keep the order passing attitude with yourself.

Even if devangflyer is a friend of yours, this is an open forum and some etiquette will be much appreciated. Hope you take it in the right spirit and oblige! Thankyou!

rohan123

can i just take the board(HobbyKing Multi-Rotor Control Board V2.1 (Atmega168PA)) out of the box and use it for the quad???

tantragna

well, you can use it inside the box too!

rohan123

sorry the thing was i was posting from my phone and had trouble typing plus i have to show this to a coordinator in school so i can be chosen for a competition and i just started programming my arduino ,i wanted to take time and learn the whole process by myself but the school wants to see the quad in the next 15 days and i havent done the coding so im in a hurry ...i am sorry again...thank you all for the help and plz help me i dont want to screw up...  :'( :'( :help: :help:

tantragna

okay okay, sorry to be a bit hard from my end too, but most of your posts are like ordering us to help you. And Mr. Sundaram is an fauji officer, so kindly edit your post enquiring the sale of the fc board with atleast a 'Sir' while addressing him. And I think it is still available, and yes it can be used right out [actually within too :giggle:] of the box with little tuning of the onboard trims/pots. The firmware too can be customised with the help of a avr programmers like, usbasp programmer dongle. All the best for your project!
