i started flying it with 1800 mah lipo old not much of flying time as compared to new one , after flying it for 2 3 minutes i tried to take it up some altitude and then it starts going to the south direction and started gaining altitude like hell , i cannot approach it as i had a serious injury in my leg(5 stiches ) , i was just looking at it till it disappears , i donot know but it was like near to a km , i was using turnigy 9x ,  there was a good cross wind towards north

regarding maths

i think

let say it fly further 5 minutes

speed is 50 km/h(got the speed from a guy on youtube)

distance should be = 4.1km {please correct me if i am wrong) s=d/s

Vineet, what battery in your Tx ? And the battery voltage ? (Possibly new one or fully charged one.  Poster Idea is the best and if fails, just arrange to make quad classes free registration in any school. The culprit surely register there.

What was the angle it flown away, is the factor for calculating the distance. And the height too. But Turbulance in higher altitude is so much that calculation may fail.

I also did my homework and found out that 30 mtrs height may have wind turbulance if your quad was light which it is it may be out.Well it depends on the place you were flying at so if you flying in a high wind prone zone it is likely that you're maths wouldn't work at all if it if you were in a lesser wind prone area its likely your maths is correct hope you find your quad

I suggest at least put your cell number on all flying models with a request that finder please call this number. Maybe there are are some nice people out there !

We all are sorry for the lost quad. How about digging the problem how it happened. We are asking this question again. Lets understand the programming part.

Can we get the entire story? Please explain how the programming was done? Your story would certainly help new flyers.

We have been flying and testing NAZA and GPS since its release. NEVER had problem !! Not even one to doubt the technology.

And now the insurance company has also trusted this technology (by providing insurance for DJI products.)

The insurance covers the equipment and public liability. To avoid negative effect on the newly started policy, we are not declaring the name of insurance company.

We do not want that people with less experience and negative motive should get benefits of this policy and we fear that too many claims would force the insurance company to stop coverage.

The annual insurance premium is 4-5% of sum assured. If you have more questions, please post it on following thread. We do not want to divert this thread.

turnigy 9x is a crappy radio, watch this video.

Aditya, sorry for the loss. T9x should be castrated off the stock RF module and refitted with the FrSky. I hope HK starts doing that in the factory, atleast for the 9xr, given that it already has a port to the er9x
