i removed shrinks with my esc and am about to ziptie them to a mini 250 carbon frame,
but i remembered that cf is a good conductor,
did i do something wrong? shall i insulate escs again?

also if i dont which way do i place them? it has a metal plate on one side and ic's on other,
i'm preassuming that the metal side will conduct and the ic's can't stand too much of pressure

Heat sink side is fine to stick as there is heat transfer tape between the fets and heatsink, but exposed esc is not good. Insulate/cover it. CF is a good conductor of elactity.

cellotape is fine? or electrical tape?

Electric tape. Heat shrink sleeve is much better wont tear off

i think fiber tape would be fine.. coz it is strong enough...  i am also plaining to remove heat shrink from esc and.. make it compact for making more space...

CF is a good conductor of electricity your lucky that you prevented the magic smoke...be sure not to stick or keep it near( your Rx antenna) to the frame as it will cause reception problems! :hatsoff:
