May be because I got confused as there is no indication of cw or ccw on hk props. Today evening I'm getting props from rcdhamaka by evening will receive it. Getting both 8" as well as 10" . On which to try .??

IndianHobbyShop

10" should be fine with this motor on a 3S Lipo

1045R = CW = Clockwise Rotation
1045L = CCW = Counter Clockwise rotation

Once you fit the prop, please provide a HQ image again.
A single image from the top of the Quad would be enough.

The settings are according to this page.. http://www.badlands-rc.com/kk-v2-0-guide/
Roll/Pitch P-gain: 30 (For a small 25cm size set to 20) Roll/Pitch P-limit: 100 Roll/Pitch I-gain: 0 Roll/Pitch I-limit: 20
Yaw P-gain: 50 Yaw P-limit: 20 Yaw I-gain: 0 Yaw I-limit: 10
Now, Increase Roll/Pitch P-gain by 10 (5 or less for a small aircraft) at a time, and test your aircraft response by hovering and move the left stick in short and fast movements.................................

#IndianHobbyShop  : Sir the video is awesome..  :) :) :) :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:

After looking the video, i doubt about my props? They are HK props [      http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=43849      ] they might be not good. u using carbon fibre props.
May be my props are only the big problem. ???

Aeroempire

Sir here u go with the motor jerk test...
Please check whether it's proper ..

IndianHobbyShop

Haven't got a chance to put hands on these Nylon Props yet but these should be quite good in strength.

Infact even the plastic Props that HobbyKing sells are quite good in quality when compared to some of the locally available props.
The one from HK are made from Virgin Plastic and are light in color and some of the 'Bad' local ones are dull/dark in color and are made from recycled plastic in some cheap factory in china.

The point here is that these props have already gone through a lot of vibrations in last few days and it's justified for one of them to break.
Any plastic prop should stay intact until and unless it has gone through a lot or had a minor crash, developed Hairline crack at the hub and one still fly it without noticing the same.

Carbon Fiber Props are certainly NOT the way to begin with as they are expensive and is quite dangerous as well.
Plastic/Nylon works best when you are just starting out.

When you crash a heli, you get a big bill of repair parts and huge time repairing them. But in quads, the one and only thing that breaks is the props.
It's always good to keep good number of plastic props in stock.

Coming back to the problem:
Jerk Test seems fine. It should be the same with each and every motor. the arm you pull down, the motor on it will go faster.
Inspect for damaged props and put new ones and give it another try.

If it still doesn't works, take the quad to some local expert and he sure would be able to help out.
If nothing works out, you may send it to us and we will see is there's anything that we can do.

But i'm sure you'll find perfect people for it in Pune.

No sir today the props where used were brand new. Taken out from fresh bag..
And all other motors showing same behaviour in jerk test...
Well now it's time to meet some local person and even have contacted them. Hope for the best.. :)

IndianHobbyShop

Hmm, BTW, did you balanced the props after before putting them on?
If yes then maybe these HK "Nylon props' might not be that good. No reviews on them yet on Hobbyking's website.

Great so the gyro is working in the correct direction as well.
yeah, It's best to meet some expert since there are just a whole bunch of checklist and anyone of them can go wrong if not noticed.

BTW, you may give the following settings a try:

And here's the one for AutoLevel (It's advisable to start with AutoLevel switched on)

I have also shown the motor ESC connection on this one.

 :) test 7,

Test 8, a good normal flight try.

Test 9, a wonderful flight ....

Thank you everyone for your help and support.
Special thanks to Ramarao and Indian hobby shop..!!!
Thank you.!!!!  :salute: :) :) :salute:

IndianHobbyShop

You're most welcome Kalpesh:)

BTW, i know it's tempting, but refrain from flying high at the moment.
Stay at 2-3 feet from ground and learn hovering and most importantly Orientation first.
Practise on a Simulator.

And use Auto Level Feature, You'll love it.

Ok. First I should balance the quad copter .? I mean acc pitch and roll settings make it fly stable.. I have noticed that when my copter lifts up then even though my throttle is fix after few seconds it comes down and again I have to increase throttle after 30% then it becomes stable.... And after it rises it moves to right and again comes to left ???

The video is on 1.6v
Should I update my version .??

chintal

yup update it a better software is always good to use
Rcmumbai.com
Passion is Airborne

SideWinder

Yes 1.6 firmware has better autolevelling, and camera gymbal support if you intend to use it. And upgrading firmware should be the next step if you have managed to build and fly your quad.
For programming you would need an AVR ISP programmer and an optional 10 pin to 6 pin converter.

Aeroempire

Yup u have those mentioned above need to update but confused where to attach pins ??? :D
Any video or pic for it.??

Dharmik

If you have KK2.0 lcd board v1.6 is latest but if you have KK2.1 lcd board KK2.1 V1.10S1 is latest.

IndianHobbyShop

Another way of looking into it would be to set it up just as shown in the video/images so that it's easier to do the configuration.
This way you will save time, avoid confusions and you can put the same time on hovering practise and also for watching various videos over YouTube with Flying tips, etc

And once you get the hovering right, you can put energy on perfecting the flying experience with newer firmware.

A lot of answers are already available over YouTube and Google Search
