Title: Multicopter Simulator
Post by: pravinxp on April 03, 2014, 01:00:11 PM
Hi guys, Hope this is the right place to request, if not please move it appropriately. Thanks

Ok... I am new to multicopter. I have built one Hex and I am looking for a simulator to learn to fly, as I had crashed my Hex 2 times now within say 10 flights.

So I am looking for a simulator for the same. Also how do we control the simulator multicopter ? Should I buy any other thinks like Joysticks to control the simulation ?

Can I use the same TX and RX that I have and by someway control the simulator through any communication tool that interface the PC with the TX and RX that I have to the simulation software.

Thanks in advance

Hi,
The avionic integrated simulator from RCB mentioned above is a good one . It comes with numerous simulator softwares. You will get the USB hub along with a set of cables and extensions cables in this. So, you can pair it with your own transmitter and need not buy anything else.
Otherwise you can try other websites too. Like www.rcdhamaka.com (//http://), www.quadkopters.com (//http://), www.rcbharat.com (//http://). Not sure, whether they have it in stock right now or not.
Friend, just a suggestion, if you are new comer to this hobby then you seriously need to practice a lot before going on to flying in real. Do order a simulator for you and practice on it. Also, multicopters are very difficult to fly and control for beginners. So, first you should try developing your flying skills on planes and then come to multicopters.
:hatsoff:

Thanks bro... really appreciate that. I too wanna learn to fly neatly. So I am trying to use simulators first hand. Then live... But the simulator mentioned above is showing only Planes and not multicopters...

But I have booked it...
