hello satya bro, with that one esc receiver is not powering up.i messaged dharmik about the problem

abhilash_172

hello satya bro,i found the problem, bec circuit is not working in that esc,i will power the board with other esc.

Dharmik

Hi Abhilash bro,
Sorry for delay. As you said you are not getting supply from BEC, i think something went wrong with that ESC during flash. Please make sure you have flashed right firmware. The only option left is to reflash that ESC again and see if it works or not.

abhilash_172

hello dharmik, flashing is ok,it is working when i connect only the signal wire.

Dharmik

Set throttle range of that ESC, it might work, connect it to the throttle channel(only signal wire), since BEC is not working you will have to supply power to the receive from other ESC. I would suggest you to use new ESC.

Its always better to have spare ESC, you never know when one might smoke

i unnecessarily changed to simonk firmware, earlier they are working with lower refresh rate in multiwii.i should have practised with that. :(

hi Abhilash,

I am thinking about flashing my ESC too.

on my tri i have HK green board.

May i know what is the exact problem that your facing ?

would you advise me not to flash my ESC's?

Thank you,
Atul

IMHO: Flash your ESC only if its a need and you are comfortable with controlling your quad with non-flashed ESC

hello atulraj,i am using multiwii,in that you need esc which support 490 hz pwm.my esc were not supporting that refresh rate.so i flashed them.
@satyagupta yeah, you are right.flash only if it is needed.
