No matter how skilled you are, it'll still take less time and effort to disconnect bullets than it does to sit and solder wires

Himadri Roy

It might be a bit of problem at 5030 prop as the peak thrust(at full throttle) is around 290-330g and at half throttle(ideal hovering position for a multirotor) its around 150-160g...

3 motors = 3*160 =480 g
the total thrust should be 2 times your multirotor's weight!

Your tri might lift off at 65-75% throttle!

So your tricopter might be a bit under powered try shedding some weight from the tricopter! :)

Seniors or any other person may correct me if they feel i am wrong!  :hatsoff:

put your heart in flying and flying will never leave your heart

sooraj.palakkad

Dear friend why are you using a usbasp for uploading code to multiwii? Easy way is to use a atduino itself or an ftdi tool.

Darshan for multirotors

use arduino itself?? didnt quite get you right
put your heart in flying and flying will never leave your heart

Himadri Roy

Remove the arduino's Atmega 328 IC and then connect the RX and TX on the arduino to the multiwii board's RX and TX..

ARDUINO -> MULTIWII
TX         ->    TX
RX         ->    RX
5V         ->    VCC
GND       ->   GND

Choose the COM port on which the arduino normally comes on your PC\laptop and program!

sooraj.palakkad

Can you please post a clear close up pic of your multiwii board, with out wires, then I could mark the above said pins on it for you.
