Hi,
I build a H frame quadcopter.
Using motor sunny sky 930 kv , esc máx 30amp Simón series.
Kk2.0 board , 2s 3000mah battery.
But the problem is ... When I gave a throttle that time one of the motor some time 3 or 4 run slow then other motor.
Due to these Yaw is out of control. And quad rotate in clock wise direcsion.
Quad is fly But Due to Yaw It is not a stable . Yaw getting chang in Every fly.
What is a problem ... ??
Is there Any problem in esc or motor or in calibrasion....
ESC Calibration will solve the problem
I did calibration ... But that is also not properly done. Some different tone is come out
Try this throttle calibrate SimonK firmware ESCs

hope it help
But remove the red cable if u r using video method
Okk Thank you mahir...
But I did calibration in kk2.0 board.
That is proper method for simonk or ths one is proper method.which is show in video.
Try to calibrate them one by one on your Rx. Its a better way to calibrate esc's. In the video he used a connector to connect all esc's at the same time to CH-3, however you can do it individually too.
I have to calibrate esc only one time ?
Or has to calibrate in Every flyte?
Thank you winder ... I hope It will work...
Once
only one time
I did But problem is still there.
See thase video and suggest some thing.
Motor number 4,in orange prop. That is run slowly.
Or is there problem with battery to esc distance.. Bcz I use some wire to connect all esc together Watch "Problem in quadcopter" on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpAM6D7MXmM&feature=youtube_gdata_player (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpAM6D7MXmM&feature=youtube_gdata_player)
The first thing I observed is all the motors are spinning in the same direction. So you need to rectify it. Have attached image for direction of spin. You can change the direction of spin by switching any 2 of the 3 wires between motor to esc.
Then please mount the props correctly such that every prop produces thrust downwards. Usually props are identical diagonally.
I hope you have selected correct layout i.e Quad X for your H-frame.
You need to read more,n since you are using kk 2.x board(easiest one), every detail is scattered all over the web regarding setup and tuning.
^ I agree. Make sure your motors are spinning according to the directions given in the picture above. Also, increase "Minimum Throttle" setting in KK2 until all motors power on at the same time.
A word of advice, never power on the motors when the quad is in close proximity to so many things. Keep it in an open space and stand atleast 4-5 feet away, especially when you know that the quad is not behaving properly. This will go a long way to prevent injuries and damage.
Since there is no magnetometer to hold the Yaw , there may be drift in yaw position holding.
Even the gyroscope will have drift.
yes i correct the direction of a motor .. but same problem.
can you tell me how to set a start up minimum throttel in kk2.1 or 2.0 board.so all motors start up equaly.
even tomorrow i am going to fly these quad in ground to see what happend .
Please confirm that your quad is flying and its not rotating on yaw axis. Motors not spinning up at the same time is not a big issue. However it can be sorted out by setting minimum throttle.
To set minimum throttle in the main menu menu go to Misc Settings-Minimum Throttle. In there increase the value, then save and exit the menu and see if motors start spinning at the same time while applying throttle. If not repeat the process again. Think the max value is 20.
And here is a link to the manual which has many more details:
http://www.quadkopters.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/HK-KK-2.1-manual.pdf (http://www.quadkopters.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/HK-KK-2.1-manual.pdf)
And kk 2.0 has a 3 axis accelerometer so a perfectly balanced multirotor should not drift on its yaw axis. I have never experienced drift in yaw axis while using kk 2.0 unless on unbalanced frames/motors/props.
Hi...
Today I fly my h frame quadcopter.
But still there is an one poroblem. When It fly. Quad rotate slitely in clock wise direcsion.
And It was countinuesly rotate and Very diffecult to control the quad.
See vídeos of today flight Watch "First flight h frame quadcopter" on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FP9E-n6a6lY&feature=youtube_gdata_ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FP9E-n6a6lY&feature=youtube_gdata_) Watch "H frame quadcopter" on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pB2wXd50eJc&feature=youtube_gdata_ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pB2wXd50eJc&feature=youtube_gdata_) Watch ".." on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osNDB0-MWOI&feature=youtube_gdata_ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osNDB0-MWOI&feature=youtube_gdata_) Watch "..." on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNg9BNyszMQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNg9BNyszMQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player)
Enter main menu and then go to "Receiver Test" and check whether rudder stick is centered. If not trim them via your transmitter.
Hi Nik,
That does not seem like too much drift. Go into receiver test in the settings and check that when you leave the controls to neutral, everything should be 0. If not, change the subtrims on your transmitter until everything is 0.
I checked 'receiver test' during flight It was in a 0 zero position.
Then I would suggest you to run the Acc Calibration once
If that still doesn't fix it, adjust the trims on the tx until it stops drifting
Okk I will do that.
One more question I would like tell you .. that
Is there Any problem in h frame ... Bcz It is a scarch builde.
So there is a some litle dimensión problem can issu Yaw problem?
I don't think so. A friend of mine has flown a quadcopter where none of the motors were at an equal distance from the center, they were all assymetrical, but KK2 was able to keep it stable. As long as your motor to motor distances are approximately symmetrical (i.e. they should make a rectangle or a square, not a polygon) then there should be no problem.
Ohhkkk...
My frame in square dimensión in h frame.
Hey if you have done the tx settings well ans the problem persists do have a check if your motors share the same horizon, unleveled motors or off centered motors will result in a yaw drift and if the drift is persistent in one direction then I strongly believe this to beoff balanced motors if not a badly calliberatded tx...
what do you say guys...
hi nikky ,
i think you are right .. bcz when ever i fly my h frame quad that time , around 4 to 5 degree twist come on the frame .
so that is a matter i think so. .. what say
There can be more then 1 reason for this situation. Just run few tests and identify what's wrong. Shouldn'tbe difficult Iif you have your basics right...
