Hi Guys,
I have decided to retire my old quadcopter and make a new one but I am having trouble deciding which model to make. I had a spider-frame quad before and it's supported my hobby loyally for the past 1 and half year. I have a limited budget and so i decided i'd like to try making it under 10k or so. I decided to reuse my old 30A ESC flashed with SimonK firmware.I already have the battery and the radio.
So all i need is new frame , FC and motors.
I was thinking about buying this Kit from Hobbyking
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__55570__Quanum_Venture_FPV_Quad_Copter_430mm_Frame_Version_.html
and using KK2.1.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__54299__Hobbyking_KK2_1_5_Multi_rotor_LCD_Flight_Control_Board_With_6050MPU_And_Atmel_644PA.html?strSearch=kk2.1.
but a friend suggested the X525 Kit from QuadKopters.com
http://www.quadkopters.com/product/arf-kit-rtf-kit-and-frames/arf-525-kit-with-kk-2-1-controller/
Both cost almost the same(actually the Quanum doesn't have FC :-\ :'() but they are a bit different in style and structure.
I'd like a bit of public opinion in order to build my next project.
Please help me out guys.
No suggestions at all??? :(
You are comparing a kit with a frame??
If you don't think we can give any suggestions, why do you ask for help and then put a "dislike" sign?
If you think you are too smart then please do the selection yourself
Hi, I have a x525 quad. I can tell you that it looks pretty sick, both on ground and in air. Minimal design begs for use of leds if you're not flying on a bright day. Not a heavy lifter though.
I'm looking forward to sell mine, because I moved to 250 class. Only landing gear is bent, which you can get from hk for 4 bucks.
