Sorry, man ,my jaw dropped on its's price, that's why...

Anyway, before going to the technical details of that drone, What will be your main application with this $1ooo Buddy? As the application you put it to, decides whether you should buy this or not.

Well, I am interested in shooting Aerial Video..

What interests me here is
1) Does not go to very high altitude. I wont be shooting beyond 50 fts.
2) Follow me feature.
3) Mobile controlled.
4) Very much suitable for GoPro.

At this time.. I am also worried about import (as they will be shipping it to India). Wondering what issue I will face.

This project is delivered only, by mar2015?, ain't there readily available ones that suits your needs?
They are shipping from outside India, and a total quad will be a big package, aware of the Interests of our customs Dept., There are sad stories of packages being caught and withheld all around this forum. So Importing is a problem even if you are ready to spend these much money.

You can Build a Quad Which lacks only Follow me feature, DIY For less than 20000 Rs., Assuming You have GoPro readily in hand, No hassles of Customs, and Low cost, Satisfaction of Self made.
Follow me feature can also be added , but no readily available kit is available I think.

Can you help with instructions & component list & where I can buy them? Also, do we need to program it from the scratch?

I can't judge if the above linked quad is worthy of it's price, but i am sure you can even build a good hex to carry a 1Kg DSLR with APM or some DJI FC systems with all above mentioned features like follow me and wifi control, well within $1000 if parts are sourced efficiently.

Do some homework on multirotors, not worth dumping $1k on a sophisticated bird if you haven't yet figured out where and how to start.

Also, aerial photography out in public places in India, without license is illegal, watch out for that.

@sandipz,
For a basic DIY Quad build you have to buy these components or parts,
1) 4x Motors
2) 4x ESC (Electronic speed controller)
3) 4x Propellers (2x CW , 2x CCW)
5) Quadcopter Frame
6) Flight Control Board
7) Radio Controller (Tx+Rx)
8) LiPo Battery

Additionally, Features Like FPV, Telemetry and Control from your Phone can be set up. Before that, It would be helpful to know what is the role of these parts in your build, So please Go through thise Blog.
