Hello everyone! I burnt my kk 2.1 while setting up the voltage alarm and I think it is a good chance to upgrade! I am considering either the Naze32/Flip32 or the APM 2.8 right now. I know these are very different but I'm looking for suggestions.
I will mostly be flying around empty plots in my layout or outside my house so GPS will only be useful if I go to a flying field sometime. That is why I'm leaning towards the Naze. But the APM has some really cool features! Also, I'm planning to get an FPV setup soon so then the APM may prove advantageous. Since there is a ~4500 difference in price, I'm wondering what to go for?
If your budget allows you should go for APM2.8 .. it has lot of features and GPS can be helpful in some cases  :hatsoff:
Hi, Darshan, what is the cost for this APM2.8
The APM 2.8 is 120 US$ for a complete set with NEO-7N GPS. This is an Ebay clone though.
SK1701 if your budget allows you can go for a pixhawk too[this is a copy]

You can aslo look for Naze32 full. It has tons of features plus its cheap.
if opting for apm 2.6

Let me know :)
Have you repaired the old Kk ? SK ?
I've been trying but I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I tested with my multimeter and there is continuity in all the traces on the bottom side. The microcontroller seems to be getting appropriate voltage to the VCC pins too but the power LED just won't light and it is not recognised by avrdude.
May be the controller is dead and short internally.
