I don't think that is the correct procedure. Afaik, you have to move the right stick (assuming your Tx to be a KMode 2) to the right/left to arm and disarm. :headscratch:
What Tx are you using? Reversing a channel will depend on that.
Kk2 arming procedure is moving the throttle stick( left stick in mode 2)
To the bottom left...
Bottom right to disarm..

Transmitter has a dual rate switch, see whether it is turned off while arming.
We had similar problem and later found out dual rate on transmitter was on.
I have a FS - CT 6B ... im just not getting any response from it .. rest of the stuff is working fine ..
dual rate switch .. could you point it out ? .. I have 2 knob like switches ... what are they for ?
Its the top left switch in the fsct6b.. its for controlling dual rates... change the position and try again..
Or your throttle may be cut.. try the top right switch also.. try both separately.. will get it solved...

Not always. In my case, I've programmed the rudder on the right hand side stick. You have to move the rudder stick to the right to arm and move it to the left to disarm.
not working :( .. tried almost everything now ...
Can you post a few close up pictures of your connections and your Tx settings?
I've sent you a PM.
These will do ?
Trim the throttle to zero first...
And the connections From the receiver is wrong... the black wire must point out...
Throttle done to zero ... black wire corrected .. same as before ..
What Arun is saying is that the plugs are connected the wrong way. Remove all the plugs going to the Rx and reconnect them with the black wires outside and the white wires closest to the screen of the Board.
corrected and im in the aux setting now ..
Just spoke with Parichay.Congrats! {:)}
Yea , most of the work is done , yet strange issues are still there :
Issue no. 1 :
The Board still ARMs via the M.Board option to ARM when power is there , im still unable to arm it via the sticks .
Issue No. 2:
I managed to set the ALMOST perfect channel to response setup ;
CH1 - 4th Port
CH3 - 2nd Port
CH2 - 3rd port
CH4 - 1st Port
The issue here is with the CH3 - 2nd Port , the throttle is reversed , rest all is fine , just this ... any way to correct it ?
Issue 3 :
Here is the STRANGE part , when I run the motors , SOMETIMES , either a motor keeps running , or stops after a while ( could be bad news if the props are attached ) . Then if I start all 4 at once or any 2 for tilting , a motor will start after a delay ... How do I correct this ?
Currently these are all the issues I'm facing now ... help me here please ..
All your answers will be found on Youtube, especially with regard to Issue#3. Also please connect the Aux wire and recalibrate the board.
Your ESC's need to be calibrated, check this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAaO6lyN0HI
Issue No.2 - Throttle reversing for any channel has to be done via a PC/Laptop. Do you have the wire to connect the Tx to PC?
Issue No.1 - I think the 5th wire (Aux) is required for this.
Issue 2 : yes i do have the cable but how do i proceed with the T6 ?
Issue 3 : Ill do that :)
There are tons of answers waiting there in Google for all your questions.. just no need to type these here and wait for reply.. even you can find the answers in the forum itself.. search them.. your issues will get solved in couple of searches...
All the best...:P:P

New issue :P
I tried calibratingmy ESc via the method as shown in the video .... NOW my M1 isnt responding !!! :O
arun i tried googling them but couldnt find anything so came here for help ..
OMG !!! Re-Calibrated for the 8th time now after 4 times resetting the board ... AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY !!!! And the board too is getting armed !!
Now only issue remaining is to reverse the Throttle stick input ...
New Update : Reversed the Input now ...TX is working perfectly now :D :D :D
ONLY issue now is the slow waking M1 .. Any help ??
Video explaining the issue :
https://www.box.com/s/yalkgl4tz8g0jpz01owg
Dis-Regard the reverse throttle issue as it has been solved .. but not the M1 issue ...
and yes , wire to the AUX port too set-up . AUX value set at 0 along with the others at receiver test . What is the AUX port for BTW ? Ive set up with the ' SW A ' dial on the upper right of my Tx ...
I think im talking to myself here :P
Update : I tried flying it , but twice the prop holder flew away and the prop jumped ! ... after many tries finally changed the props and now there SEEM to be fixed ( lost one of the washer in the process and managed to get a minute cut in a prop )
The issue now is .. THE QUAD WONT FLY !!! it shows movement only after the throttle is at 70% :P ...
I NEED HELP !
Anyone ? ... ???
Ill re-ask the query L
I'm in a dilemma here i started building a quad 20hrs ago ( My first quad ) . Initially had some issues but ironed them out now .. the only issue which doesn't seem to go is that when i give throttle to the quad :
1> Its starts moving only when he throttle reaches around 70% .
2> When it gets enough thrust and starts lifting , it tilts to the right side ( both the motors ) .. I have a KK 2.0 LCD Board and i haven't tweaked anything ( except for setting it to Quad X Mode ) , everything is the way it has come ( In sense of the PI Gain and other stuff i dont know what it means )
I need help here ...
I dont have experience with KK 2.0 board but here are few things you should take care.
1. Calibrate your ESCs. This is important so that all your motors behave in same way.
2. Set your prop direction as per manual.
3. Most of the time you have to control quad manually as it takes off the ground. It often have tendency to move in any of the direction and you will have to correct it manually using tx.
4. Try to balance your qaud at CG as perfectly as possible so that it wont deviate much as the time takoff.
5. Make sure your props are well balanced.
Even if after calibrating ESCs your qaud lifts of at 70% throttle, that means your qaud is bit heavy for your motors. It should still fly. But Ideally quad should lift off at aroudn 40-50% to have better control during flight. try to see if you can reduce weight of your frame.
1 - Done
2 - done
3 - even as hard as i try it just doesnt take off straight ..
4 - hmmm , mine is poorly balanced ill try this , but should the board be able do the counter balancing via the sensors ??
5 - Props .. on it :D
tried everything .. nothing seems to help .. does NO ONE has any idea ???!
Gautam can you post your complete setup?
i have a video i put here , one can see the stuff i have .. still , ill upload some pics too .
Something i would like to add :
I was reading on another forum that TILT is a thing and so is FLIP-OVER ..
Well , as suggested my another member , i gave my quad one good full throttle thinking perhaps it will overcome the tilt and get in the air ,,, well , it FLIPPED OVER and landed on the prop-adapters edge ...
Any help from this ?
Images :
If the FC mounted as shown in the above pics then it is wrong. Mount it properly on the frame and then calibrate sensors again. It will resolve your issue.
it wont fit properly in the frame ( the holes arent at the correct place ) ... what's the issue here ? I have a sponge like material under the M.Board ( gives support , acts as the insulator for the bottom solders and reduces vibrations ) plus by using velcro it is really sturdy ...
Shall i still try and mount it the other way ?
The reason is
It is not horizontally leveled with the frame.
To much foam will confuse sensors to understand and calculate small tilt angle as a result it will flip on the side.
ok...point noted...i'll do that.
Still happens .... Can NO ONE HELP ME ??
What is your problem right now? Not getting armed.? Or is it flipping/ rotating while throttling
Sent from my Canvas using tapatalk 2
everything solved except for the FLIPPING of the quad ..
as VC said quads dont like to stay at ground so i gave one good full throttle and i just flipped and landed upside down on the prop adapter ...
but once it did start flying ( albeit was still tilting to the right side ) .. so i tried pushing it more and trimming so that teh tilt could be counter-acted ( the point where the battery slipped and the quad crashed 4 stories down ) ..
Thus is my issue ... Mainly FLIPPING .. but twice it was just tilting ...
I cant seem to solve this issue ...
Set all controls to ZERO in the RECEIVER TEST option everytime before you fly. This should stabilize your quad. Also make sure that you have the stability switched on and the PI values tuned. I flashed my kk2 with v1.5 firmware and my quad flew with the stock settings! ;) Lastly, Don't forget to balance your props. Cheers!
i recently balanced my props
all settings at 0
mine is running 1.2 firmware , shall i flash newer one ??
stability switched ON from where ? and what changes to make in the PI values ??
THE RECEIVER GOT BURNT TODAY !!!! ... FlySky FSC16b or something like that model ...
What do i do now ??? can i use any other receiver or same frequency ???
I have this one ..

Parichay, whenever you get back the system up, you might also want to check the following. This is basic stuff but it always helps to be double sure:
1. Your motor directions according to the layout (cw and ccw based on the layout shown on the kk)
2. Your prop rotations (RH and LH placed correctly and all throwing air down).
3. Are the props tight, and not slipping on the prop adapter
4. Ensure motor screws and frame screws are tight and there is no play.
5. Motor should speed up when dropping the arm it is mounted on
6. The motor layout, quad-x config
7. Use zip ties to mount battery etc *tight* so it does not slip again. Of course ensure best possible CG balancing. Ground effect should be gone about 6-8 feet with that quad size. Why were you flying at 4 stories height or were you on the terrace ;)
8. Check for vibrations as well. since you've already balanced the props, *take them off* and place the quad on a smooth surface such as glazed floor tiles or a glass table and give full throttle. The quad should not skid a lot because of vibrations; A little here and there is alright.
Also, like Dharmik mentioned earlier, the FC does not seem axis aligned. This will cause yaw and orientation issues at a later point in time. You can use a spirit level indicator to check level. Pretty inexpensive and available at your local hardware shop. Also, does your quad flip in a split second or it starts tilting and ultimately flips over?
I am not an expert with quads, but here are just 20 cents (2 cents seem less for the rant above ;))
GS
1. Its correct
2. Always check it
3.once it was loose and lost a washer and a damaged prop .. not again . ( BTW , i dont use the washers under my props cause i lost one and so dont use the other 3 , is it fine ? the props are tight without them )
4. Yes they are , especially after the fall .
5. i didnt get this one :P
6. yes it is in X
7. i ' FIX ' the esc so that they wont fall loose mid way .. ALSO , additionally i fix it in with Velcro .
8. there are almost NO vibrations , especially the ' quad will start moving ' part .. none there .
as dharmik said , i refixed the board in a different way via rubberbands as suggested and used by another person in RcGrouops.com ( see pics attached )
My board is at 1.2 Firmware ... will upgrading it to 1.5 solve teh issue ( i did read 2 people with somehwat similar issues had their quad working right after upgrading )
also i put some layers of transparent adhesive tape on the frame directly under the board - so that the protruding ports from the board dont touch the aluminum frame :)
Parichya,
For point number 5, when you tilt the quad in a direction using your hand. the motors *going down* should speed up. If you're tilting the quad to right, the front right and rear right motor should speed up (in x config)
If it is not the case, the quad will flip for sure, because if you tilt it to the right and the left motors speed up, the lift on the left side increases, and the quad will flip over almost instantaneously. However, since you mentioned that it has flown twice (although not stable), chances for this problem seem less. Yet, its always a good idea to confirm. If this is the case the gyros will need to be reversed. I never had to do this on the kk 2.0 board so i cannot give you instructions how to do it but there should be a couple available via google and rci.
if the quad will turn to the right with the front of the board facing away from me , shouldn't the left side motors go faster ( or right side motors go slower ? ) ... im still not clear on this :P
Hold the quad in your hand and tilt it with the props mounted and motors running at about 25%- the motors on the arm going
downwards should speed up and resist the tilt. First get this sorted out on all the four motors.
Yea.. haha I got 4-5 scars in my hand... after this test... do it with very good care... I won't recommend this until you make all the necessary settings on the board.. this is just for checking whether the gyros are working correctly..
Sent from my Canvas using tapatalk 2
did once , will do again for this titling issue now :P
After i get the remaining stuff :P
damn i spent almost 30K on my quad now !! NEVER though it would be SO damn costly !!!
30k ? Can you just give an idea of cost spent? I think that is 3 times of an actual build cost of your quad size.... >:(>:(
Sent from my Canvas using tapatalk 2
bought frame from RcFever , shouldve cost me 8250 but after shipping and other stuff it cost me almost 14K :P rest of the cost includes the board , charger , the adapter , and now after the damage , new set of props , prop adapters , usb programmer cable and all the other stuff ... i and my friend are sharing the so from my pocket alone ive spent 8080 + 7137 in total :P ...
Parichya, yes you seem to have overpaid for the quad, but if the learning is successful, the money is soon forgotten.
You can easily diagnose if motors are speeding up even with the props off; 'listen' to the motors as doing this with props can be risky; I've seen my first quad almost fly into my face, lucky I dodged it. You could also do this with the props on and if holding it in your hand feels scary, you might want to tie the quad on the axis using thick copper wire (typically used for internal wiring) or nylon strings. I've screwed in two clothes line hooks between opposite walls for suspending quads and tuning them. Just ensure both hooks are at the same height and the quad is level when suspended. Precision is a first class citizen with quads...
yea i tried the hang it by a wire at 2 sides and then try but it wasn't successful as there are no equally placed holes on the frame :P still ill try some jugaad without compromising on the precision :D
Dude I think the problem is with the trims... try playing with trims.. will get corrected... make sure the cg is balanced in the center..
Sent from my Canvas using tapatalk 2
yea ill try the trims ... and yea ive centered the CG as much as i could now..
Check the motors are connected in the same order as in the kk2 settings... and also do check all are spinning in the same order... it should lift for sure.... and trim it as good as you can... sub trims also...
Sent from my Canvas using tapatalk 2
motors are in correct order and so is the rotation ... it does lift , but keeps tilting ... trims i guess is the dial like thing ... Sub-Trim ???
I don't want to sound offensive, but the t6 radio is CRAP for multirotors. No failsafe and no expo make this radio quite dangerous for multirotors (I have got the scars to prove it).. Now, as can be seen from the picture, the way you have mounted the kk board is not recommended. You IMU should be rigidly fixed with your airframe, with some vibe dampening. Since you say that your quad does not vibrate, do this:
Get some double sided foam tape, cut four 5mm squares and stick them between the corners of the fc and the frame.
Have you been able to connect the radio with the T6A config tool? You can access subtrims from there only. I had to apply 70% subtrims to get my quad in the air when I used to own this radio.
sub trims from the T6 ? .. hmm i didn't try that ,..., any specific guide for that i was able to reverse the channel from the T6 but how do i go about changing the sub-trim ?
