So after a botched hand launch my mini parrot rolling spiders rear left hand side motor stopped working completely.

I opened it and managed to getting it spinning again. Somewhat

During take off it would just flip to one side (Im assuming that buggy motor isnt providing enough thrust)

Also the motor doesnt spin unless i give it a slight nudge and im not sure but it feels slightly under powered compared to the other 3.

Ive tried most of the things i could find on the net with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Would it be possible to get a replacement motor in India?

Thanks

Check for soldering problems on the Flight controller board.

The motor connections are all something like " mini JR UNIVERSAL SERVO PLUGS" . Motor wires run straight into one board. Plug n play
Checked those. Any other ways to fix the motor?

Oil the motor or change the motor

You cant oil that type of motor, it will stop working completely XD. Change it.

Yup, change it. Even I had a dud on my toy quad. It ended up in the bin.

Hi...if you are not able to find the same motor then why you are not trying the something compatible. I don't have any idea about the parrot products but i think you should go with the specifications. If you can share them here then please share. And i am sure you can find the compatible thing.

Hello,

Im not sure of the specifications but it looks like the ones found on a Hubsan mini drone. (Ive attached a picture for your reference)

It is always recommended to use the same motors as there will be an RPM difference and also the fitting might not be the same. All these micro brushed motors are just snuggly fit in the frames and have to be of the same size otherwise they might not fit length or diameter wise. Just check the size and if it is the same, might as well give it a try.

If motors are unavailable better replace all motors with coreless motors that are available in lhs which will work flawlessly.
But you need to replace all 4 of them and wiring must be taken care because spinning direction may change.
