Hello RCI members.
I'm in aeromodelling since 2011 and experienced so much fun and learnt a lot.  ;D
In multirotor i used multiwii, KK2.1, NAZA, APM2.52, 2.6(clone) and cc3d.
So now i'm thinking to buy Pixhawk from 3dr which is costing me around inr 25K+ because clones are not trustworthy specially for long range flying. :banghead:
I also placed order yesterday but not paid yet.
I was looking some thread on Rcgroups and came to know that HKPilot32 is as good as 3Dr.
But cost is much less $129 for all except telementry on the other hand 3Dr is $290 for FC and GPS.
So i need some advice from the experience holders, which i should buy? :help:
Is HKpilot good controller for autonomous flight? ???

rcrcnitesh

I would suggest to buy pix hawk from quadkopters.com it is as trustworthy as hk32.

Thank rcrcnitesh.
But hv u personally used that?

what do you mean " clones are not trustworthy ..."

pixhawk is an opensource project . thus by definition there are no clones

you surely don't think 3dr has its own fab facility do you ?

3dr likely sources the pixhawk from contractors/vendors just like the so called " clones"

and yes i have had experience with the so called clones ! rctimer and readytoflyquads
i have not got a pixhawk from 3dr as i refuse to pay their ridiculous markups.
