Title: Pigeon Rescue using Quadcopter
Post by: sajid6300shaikh on January 26, 2014, 06:58:36 PM
Hello friends watch my attempt to rescue a pigeon using Quad, if everything would have went well  :banghead:, Multis would have found new application.  :(

Since I got the beginner detective certificate from the "Sherlock Holmes Memorial Detective College for the mentally challenged", I will say that the claim that the quad was uncontrollable due to wind is a pure lie. Litmus tests conducted on the tree leaves show that wind was barely existent :giggle:

PS: Further forensic tests show that it was pure lack of skills on the part of the pilot ;)

PPS: Pun intended ! Nice attempt that could have been better executed :thumbsup:

Hahaha..
That was funny Mr. Sherlock.
If you look closely the area is surrounded by buildings and height of trees is only till 1-2 floors and the quad was flying above 3rd floor thats why leaves are not moving and I was having hard time controlling it since I am a noob pilot.

Partially my point ;)

I was kidding anyways.  Good to hear that the damage is minor.

@sajid6300shaikh
Great attempt, great video, great background music.
Perhaps rescue flights have to be attempted from the ground rather than the rooftop  ;)
Desi solution might have been to use a langar.........(i think thats what they used to be called)

Hitherto, I had only HEARD about Pigeon Post. Now I am experiencing it for the first time. So many of my posts and then some from the Great Dictator (full of angst) have been pigeoned away. Alas...............I stand demoted, yet again. :'(
