Some updates :)
Building the frame using glass fiber sheet 2mm, 4mm and 15mm Carbon fiber square tubes.
Method of cutting the parts was to stick drawing on glass fiber sheet and cut with dremel and drill.
All Hand cut.
Picture of main frame parts after test fitting.
Lot more work still left . :)

How about taking order for one set for me pravesh too good man ARF quality.  {:)} {:)} {:)}

sundaram

What are you using for cutting the plates. CNC I presume  :giggle:  {:)} {:)} Unbelievable when you know it's hand cut man.

do you table mount the dremel??

pravesh736

Thank you Sir, :) this one was hand cut with dremel, drill and files.
Planning to redraw in cad and cut thru CNC router locally. If I am able to do it, will make a set for you. :)

I use a grout removing bit(569 in dremel) along with flexi shaft extension, the cuts are rough and needs to be filed with dremel sanding drum or files. I  firmly mount the gf sheet on foam table for inner holes and for outer cuts I sandwich sheet between two encyclopedia to provide holding strength and cut with cutting disc :)

The frame is stiff and compact, it folds after removing 4 screws.
Designed/modified/built by me. should fall under scratchbuilt i guess.
i also made the pdb strip, individual  5v and 12v ldo linear becs for it.
it has vibration isolation between driving motors and flight controller/cam etc.
frame was inspired by ads400, qav 400 quad,
i would have bought one of them but they were too heavy or fragile and only supported 8 inch props. no folding arms too.

quad setup- 450mm motor to motor
sunnysky 2216 900kv with 10inch graupner clones and f30a simonk esc, naze32 full(awaiting gps).
auw - 1420gms with fpvsetup+gopro+4200 4s(420gms).

last pic next to 230mm mini quad for comparison.
