hey! i would like to know which pi setup is the best suited for flying FPV on a quad using KK 2.1
im using AVIONIC C2836 880Kv, 10x4.5 props, f450 frame, wolfpack 2200 mah 3S lipo. total weight of aircraft around 2kg with fpv equipment.
i want PI setup such that there is no oscillations and stable if i let the sticks go! currently im having side to side oscillations

my PI setup
Roll/Pitch Axis:
Pgain = 50
Plimit = 100
Igain = 25
Ilimit = 20
Yaw Axis:
Pgain = 50
Plimit = 20
Igain = 25
Ilimit = 10

please help!
thank you

There is no such thing as the 'best' PI values. They differ from multirotor to multirotor. You need to tune your PI values. You may find this link useful.

well thank you! would appreciate it if you could send your PI settings

Sorry, but I am using an APM flight controller now. I used to use the kk 2.1 and it flew OK with stock settings but much better after I tuned it.
My approach for tuning the P gain was to turn it up until I got oscillations and backed off from there. For the I gain, I followed the guide I linked to. BTW, this tuning has to be done in acro mode, and then you might want to adjust the self-level gains afterwards. The quad won't be stable when you let the sticks go unless you are using GPS. You need to control it all times.
I would also suggest you upgrade to the latest firmware for the kk 2.1. I couldn't get my quad flying with the 1.6 firmware but it flew like a charm when I updated. You can find the latest firmwares here (my preference) or here

Naveed, the PI gains always vary. The ones best for me may not match yours. So you have to go for the trial and error method. Take your quad to an open ground and try to fly it with different gains. The advantage of KK2 board is that you can change your gains instantly. So give it a try. I maintained a excel sheet with all the different gains! That may help you. Also there are lots of KK2 PI gain tuning videos in youtube. Go through them. They are very helpful.
