I am using cricket bat grip and it works perfectly. No more vibration issue.

a few minutes ago satyagupta suggested on the phone that i try spooling all the motors up instead of one through the k22 board and guess what happened

at full throttle the quad became almost vibration free (i dont know the reason why but i believe it could be due to all the vibrations cancelling out each other) and that was the sweetest moment in the whole build log till now.

dont worry guys i got the photos and the video of it starting up and working superbly ( on the ground  ;D )

i just made a makeshift battery harness with polycab wires and local screw on connectors and it worked great but i am going to replace them preferably before the first flight.

viewer discretion is advised since the initial prototype of the quad without proper wiring may scare you but the performance will more than suffice for the flaw.

and finally the quad as of now weighs exactly 1076 gms - AUW

video is being uploaded might take some time but it will be done today, and so tomorrow the sea trials can successfully begin

i almost forgot about the landing gear guys i am using simple foam blocks as landing gears on this one to begin with and later with upgrades like motors and frame i will go for a better landing gear. will post some pictures tomorrow. and satya maiden will probably happen on monday.

as of now its time to enjoy the video with exquisite music from john mayer - 'GRAVITY'

the first line of this song goes like this - Gravity, its working against me - now i have felt similar when my planes have crashed  ;) :) (how about you guys)

anyway enjoy the video (anwar bhaiya is there a way to embed videos in their original aspect ratio)

Sorry for the bump guys, but I have a doubt about these NTM 2826 motors.

I received mine yesterday and I see that the bolt-on prop adapter fits on the opposite side of the shaft and the mount fits on the lower portion of the motor (as it should be). So I have a prop adapter facing upwards and a mount on the lower part of the motor, BUT the shaft is facing down too!?!? I know it is the prop adapter where I'll be connecting the props, but there's a long shaft spinning below the motor? ???

satyagupta

yes... bro i know that, and i really hate that but thats how it comes :( you have to drill hole in your motor mount. Or you can change the shaft direction if you want, you have ordered accessories then you would have got the other shaft along with it. :headscratch:

Hmm, may be they've designed the motor with the shaft protruding outwards to reduce vibes.. :scratchhead: But I like these better than my older motors.
yeah, I've ordered an accessory pack, but no extra shafts.

How do I change the shaft direction?

SunLikeStar

To change shaft direction (usually) you have to remove any c-clips on the motor shaft, loose two hex screw on the motor bell which hold the shaft, then use a hammer to tap the shaft out through the other side.

Ya thats how its done, just be careful with e-clips i had a hard time putting them back :(

Yeah, they seem to be very delicate and small. Or I guess I'll leave it the way it is. ;)

Rajibic you have to connect aux input of the KK2.0 board to radio channel on which you have switch, To calibrate your board read the instructions that is provided in the board itself.

test it, first 4 are the AIL,ELE,THR and RUDDER rest of the channels should be it. Besides there is a receiver test option in board as well, you can use that to test which channel is responding to switch..

Ok so after all the frames and the control boards this is what it has come to. the following are the final specifications i intend to use

Frame - talon v2
Motors - 4 x DT750
sc - 4 x HK SS 25-30A (gusty bhaiya thanks for the esc  :) )
Battery - 2200 / 4000 mAh 3s 25c turniny lipo
Control board - KK2 Multirotor board
HK power distribution board
Props- 11x4.7 (still need to get these (Sujit bhaiya do you have any extra spare props from your quad)  ) (any local source is welcome too)

I had one question in mind I wanted to increase the length of the wire's on esc going to the motors, now I know that using the Silicon wire is recommended but it is hard to find here nearby so can I use the normal copper wire which is available locally (of similar gauge) provided I get a good enough joint. So once that problem is solved I guess then I shall be ready to roll.

Attached are a few pictures of the quad as of tonight
