KK2 is still a good controller for beginners you should check Dharmik bro's videos and build logs he has done a great quad with KK2 as flight controller.
For topic: The choice of the controller totally depends on the application of the quad.
Some people say even KK5.5 is good but they want to learn or are beginners.
Hence depending on the application you can decide. If you are beginner then KK2 boards are best even you can try with MWC with GPS you can do mission planning
But if you want to do Video or photo then DJI /hoverfly are best nothing beats them. But at the same time they are costly too.
well that's their but kk2 and naza are not at all comparable
they say you get what you pay for.....
and the reason for such a reply was
he asked which one was better "DJI,XAIRCRAFT or SIGLOMAX"
True even the price is not even comparable. For a some one who is tight on budget KK2 boards are good option for them to start with.
Yes he asked from those but if you know something which is you think is better then you will definitely suggest. May be that person did not know about that board.
Thats my point. Nothing else.
If you say price comparison
29$ vs 299$
Both fc's are best in their own worlds
For low budget kk2.1 is advisable
hi, i was in hurry that day so could not write in details but all i wanted to say that jumping directly on advanced board is not advisable even for experienced heli or plane pilots. you might get your multirotor airborne quickly using gps, way point nav, baro and other sensors but any newbie should learn basics of gyro using any cheap board. i saw op posting his first post so i gave him suggestion. even kk5.5 gyro only board are good but kk firmwares need gyro reverse on any of axis which is tough and needs trial and errors to get it right.

Totally agree, i have experienced it my self :(
Supplied manual for kk5.5 is really bad. As i am building my very first + copter , manual suggests m1 and m4 to be CCW and m2 and m3 to be CW. Later after exploring different forums it turned out to be an error. But for the price its really nice, my quad flies perfectly..
To be very frank it does not matters which motor spins which direction. The only thing matters is the diagonal motors should spin in the same direction, and the motor should spin in the opposite direction as its previous one.
Earlier my quad used to roll in right or left direction. I did some rudder trimming but still its was not holding. Reversing the roll gyro and the props orientation made it worked. I thought props orientation was an issue .. :)
