you might want one of these.  I could build you one if you want one.  Super stable, almost hands off.  Can you fly a quad?

Hello Sheethal

Here is what we would like to suggest while you pick up a suitable platform for yourself.

1. You would need a controller which can stabilize your craft.
2. You would need a camera stabilizer. To get a stable video.
3. There should be camera stabilization mount. It could be two or three axis
4. Your mount would need vibration dampers.
5. Your requirement of not getting the craft in the video, depends on how you fix your mount and what would be the position of camera at the time of taking video.

Please note that the camera mounts can be as cheap as 5-6k and it can be as costly as 2-3 lacs or even more. It would all depend on type of camera, quality of picture, your project and finally your budget.

Generally speaking, you can divide you item procurement list in two halves.

1. The craft (type, size, duration of flight, weight carrying capacity, stability etc...)
2. The video equipment. (camera, camera gimbals, video down link, video goggles, battery for down link etc..)

Let us know if you need help. Remember, buying the flying camera platform is easy but to find one which suits your need would be a bit difficult task. Good luck.

Do not get confused. Start with fun flying & then think of aerial video. If you are determined, you can definitely achieve what you want. Only thing is do not get frustrated on failures.

People like Divay are in this hobby for a long time.
