Hey friends, after last outdoor crash i have rebuilt my quad again. It flew really well, more than two minutes in perfect hover position, however at last due to lack of skills i crashed it from above 10 feet. Luckily everything survived except frame and motor shafts and cap of roll gyro came off. I am really satisfied with hk board performance so i went ahead and put everything together.

What material are you using for the base, where you mount the HK board...

satya bro l am using plastic tray material for center plates and 12mm aluminium channel. frame is completely handmade.

Bro any suggestion where would i something like that???

If you see the latest post by me here, http://www.rcindia.org/multirotors/help-with-my-quad/ i used a 2 mm plys which gave up after a hard landing.

Was thinking to use something very light and stiff, any suggestions??

BTW i got a good flight yesterday :) was able to lift my quad more than 20-25 feet in air :D will post video soon.

Neighbours are on vacation, streets are empty and i got it on video.

{:)} {:)} super stuff Dharmik.

Bro i have got into a problem with my quad :headscratch: if you rem at the very start my quad used to do round and round on the yaw axis. After sometime getting some inputs from you and other members of RCI i got it fixed. Now i have replaced the base with a 2mm CF plates and it has started the behaviour again. The only thing is different that its more violent now.. It rotates as if its on mission to kill someone :banghead: :banghead:

Any inputs, sorry i cant took any video because it was very dangerously flying so i had to stop in less than a minute or two.

@satyagupta

Yes i got your point that rotating roundly.

it happens when CW and CCW (Clock wise and Anti Clockwise) aren't correctly placed. just be aware of the Front, Rear, Right, Left.
here is an example for that---X config.(works perfectly)

                                        Left

                          CCW     X        X   CW

                      Rear              +        Front

                          CW       X        X   CCW

                                        Right

***This is a method done by using IMU 6DOF.(Front,rear,right,left)
It depends on how you actually placed your Gyro Sensor.
Above you can see Gyro Front-Rear-Right-Left.
According to your Gyro Position you need to place your propellors CW and CCW.

Satya bro i don't know which fw you have flashed but i had to reverse my yaw gyro on kk 4.7 fw but as you said it started again then probably something wrong with new setup. It also happens when arm is slightly twisted by mistake so make sure motors are mounted at 90 degree angle. Btw i will have to remove background music(content id match) p

What happend satya bro? My previous harness was bit long. All i learned is make ESS to BATTERY connection as much short as you can. You can extend esc to motor connection if required. Yeah heat shrinking left. I have added wires for lights too.

satyagupta

Nothing bro, i thought this is the way everyone is does it.. Anyways good stuff you using silicon wires or normal ones?
