Hi Friends,
I have successfully built a professional racing quad weighing less than 250 grams that also accommodates FPV, Action Camera and GPS.
I have made a video of the same and uploaded it on Youtube. Please take a look and send your comments for improvement.

That's a good build. There's some scope for improvement though depending on the objective.
These components, especially the high latency CMOS based action camera is a strict no for racing. You need a CCD or a good CMOS based dedicated FPV camera, or a "split" style fpv + HD camera like Runcam split or Caddx turtle.
I personally found a low weight 5 inch setup to give best results in terms of flight time. Here's an video of an old sub 250g build using a 5 inch frame and cheap light weight 3100kv motors. On 2S LiPo I got 8+ minute flight time.

I too tried a 3 inch with 1106 4500KV motors AUW 230gm with 2s 3000mah li-ion. Got 15mnts hover time.
Same setup with a 3000mah 3s li-ion AUW 277gm got 20mnts hover time.
