Gaurav sir had a set of 8 motors and escs lying spare so I thought to build a lightweight octacopter - My first multi rotor .

Here are the equipment i plane to use:

8x HexTronik 24gram Brushless Outrunner 1300kv motors
8x Turnigy 12 Amp ESC
Prop saver rubber bands
8x4 props
Wooden arms
Fiberglass sheet for center frame
HK KK2.0 board for control.

I call it scratch built Since i do not plan to use any premade arms, or center frame parts.

Gaurav sir designed the frame for me on Corel Draw and printed out for me. Very simple and basic.
Attached is the plan.

First page has the center frame layout which i will cut out . Second page has the PCB negative which i plan to etch on one of the plates to avoid using a seperate power distribution board.

@roby, kk2 has only 5 inputs and you need only 4 inputs to fly.
