Have been using the DJI AVL 58 5.8G Downlink Tx and Rx on the Phantom 2 with H3-2D gimbal for almost two years now and it worked like a charm until recently I tried to cut the wires down to length to tidy up the installation and make my FPV setup more neat. That said I made sure all the positive and negative terminals were connected correctly before the final solder.

Before going further I will tell you my setup initially, in between and currently.
When the Phantom 2 was released in Nov 2013 it did not come with the FPV hub and one had to directly tap power from the PDB and tap video from the Provided video downlink. It was a little tricky to instal back then but I managed to power the TX with a JST from main power and hook up video to TX and it worked well until recently. I have done about forty flights since with no problem.
Two weeks ago I cut the A/V and power cables to tidy up and make provision for another FPV screen/goggles. I also tapped the video signal and make it into three (heard thats a bad thing) :banghead: I connected everything correctly as per the diagram and  same as before then powered on my Phantom. ALL the correct LED's blink and I matched the channels correctly the fan on TX runs fine, on ground end my Rx and Screen work fine. NO VIDEO  :headscratch: I  tried various display options but no video signal. I also tried another Tx Rx with my display and works fine too.
Recently ordered the FPV hub to connect the devices neatly plugged it all in as per instructions (with or without IOSD) NO video.
All software is up to date IOSD has never worked and needs rectifying ANY HELP would be much appreciated.
