beginner here..
i have build a quad copter..
following are the parts that i used
crius aiop v2 flight controller
turnigy 5x transmitter
general esc and motors
5000mah battery

i have calibrated all the esc..
i have done all the connections right..
and i have programmed the board correctly &  done the binding process successfully
and now when i start the quad and transmitter and try to arm it.. its not arming
need urgent help here

nite

read manual of your flight controller dude
TBS DISCOVERY, QUANUM VENTURE, EACHINE Q90
ALIEN 6", ZMR250, ROBOCAT 270, QAV280, FLEXYBEE 280,
TURNIGY 9XR Pro, XJT MODULE, FATSHARK HD2, FATSHARK TELEPOTER, FLYSKY FS-T6, TURNIGY 5X,
WLTOYS V686G, TARANTULA X6, SYMA X5C, SYMA X11, EACHINE CG023, EACHINE H8, WLTOYS V911 HELI, HUBSAN X4L

I think you havent done tx calibration.

I mean the max &  min values for your sticks.

yeah i think problem lies there.. i have turnigy 5x transmitter which does not have any display.. how do i calibrate it??

SORAV

ok then it will be difficult for you to set the end points.

Try decreasing your throttle trim to lowest position &  move the rudder trim to right/left (the direction where it gets armed) slowly to check whether its get activated or not .

Also you can check the tx values from the gui. Your throttle & rudder values should go down to 0

bro i tried trimming throttle and rudder as you said but still its not arming... and what do you mean it s difficult?? how difficult is it?

bro i have attached image which contains values for throttel fro apm planner after trimming throttle to full bottom and rudder to full right

@nitin0836,
Try pulling throttle trim to minimum and rudder trim to full right.

joban13

Try a different transmitter if someone has it around you to see if there is a problem there.

ya it seems thats my last option... but here not many have done quad..

You don't need a quad flyer.
All you need is temporary access to another tx/rx!
Hope you can persuade someone...

yeah.. thanks for your help..

I dont think there is need of another tx.

you can see whether the tx channels min. and max. points are enough for the APM , from the mission planner.

Connect your flight controller to mission planner
go to Initial setup tab
select radio calibration from mandatory hardware menu.
now you can see the inputs from your transmitter as received by the flight controller on screen.
check the max. and min. pwm values detected by flight controller for each RC channel by moving one stick at a time to its extreme positions.

the min. pwm for all channels should be in b/w 990 to 1100 .
and max. pwm should be in the range of 1900 tp 2000.

other than this , there might be several other issues that is preventing you from arming the copter, whatever it is, easy way to check it is from the missionplanner itself.
try to arm the copter while connected to mission planner, if the issue is something other than channel range, it will be displayed on the missionplanner.

Do you have a GPS and compass module ?
if yes is the compass calibrated ?
and it is necessary that the GPS to acquire 3D fix, in order to arm the copter.

thanks for replying ..  i dont have gps .. i havent connected anything else ..
and as you said i also checked the tx throttle and rudder range its all right.. dont know  where problem lies...

Lot of things need to be satisfied to get armed, some of them are given below

Accelerometer calib
Transmitter calib
Compass calib
Flight controller should be in level ( can be up to 15 degree off)
Non movable surface ( to pass gyro calibration while arming)
Channel 5 below pwm 1150 and/or current mode is armable.

You can see the error in that 'message' tab, also you can try disabling prearm check in standard parameters(not recommended)

First tell me how come the centre value of ur first chanel is 994. Also if the figures shown in the pic is ur transmitter ones then they are way beyound the limits.

sooraj.palakkad

Redo the transmitter calibration with all your trims centered , and all mixes off (dualrate , expo...etc......)

already tried with combinations of trims for throttle and rudder doesnt work at all..
